A two-year-old to be blue eyed Kristina is a curious little creature. She is fascinated with insects, little animals and plants. She adores eating plain bread and always eats the spreads separately. Sometimes, as she is riding in the car eating her bread bun, should a pond pass their way, she enjoys sharing her favourite bite with the ducks.
Off we went to the botanical garden in search of ladybugs, bees, ducks and turtles.
At first little Kristina was not so eager for discoveries. She just sat in the grass and did not move.
But after showing her my photos on my photo display, her eyes lid up. She liked them and decided to pose with a little chalkboard. Expecting a new born sibling shortly, the sign “older sister” had to be written on it. She new her baby brother was in her mom’s tummy underneath that white dress. What she didn’t know was that she will be sharing her mom, whom she had all for herself for all this time, with her brother.
Her mother Jana has a beautiful smile and adores laughter. She is a pleasant and happy pregnant woman. She took Kristina in her arms and began playing the game Where is the blackbird? Kristina got all the answers right and pointed to her mom’s nose, eyes and mouth as well. Happy laughter accompanied their game the whole time.
Matej, Kristina’s father, joined the girls sitting on a white blanket spread on the meadow. There in front of me was a beautiful, happy family.
We decided to have a look at the covered greenhouse, where big jungle plants grew, such as pineapples and bananas. Kristina’s dad assumed it is going to be too hot in the greenhouse for him to be able to stay in it. But when we entered, it was not as humid as it usually is in tropical environments.
All of a sudden Kristina decided she had enough and lay down in the middle of the greenhouse. And off we went laughing again.
