Nataša (natashaazumbaa) lives in Kranj even though I have found out that she spent her childhood in Tržič (like I did too). So, she is practically my fellow inhabitant. Her mother and father, who first met in Kranj, are pure Macedonians, so she is as well.
I have found out that Macedonian girls are the most beautiful of all the girls from the countries that were a part of former Yugoslavia. Somebody even called them “top shit” babes, ha-ha. And of course, when I saw her in person – her loooong chocolate hair, brown eyes, and most of all her wide and catching smile showing a row of white teeth – I could see with my own eyes that this statement was true.
FIRST MISS, THEN ZUMBA AND JENNIFER LOPEZ
We chose the Ljubljana Castle for the photo shoot location for the L&Z magazine. One could almost say that Nataša, full of vigour, arrived in Zumba style. Miss photogenic and the second runner-up of Miss Universe 2011 is also a Zumba teacher and trainer in Kranj. Even though right now she cannot do what she loves the most, as many other people. While having her make-up done, the talkative girl from Gorenjska tells me an anecdote. She was once called by a mom who wanted her daughter to join a Zumba class. Nataša asked her as usual what her daughter’s name was, and she got the answer: “Jennifer Lopez”. She was not sure she had heard right: “I beg your pardon?” And a woman’s voice on the other side answered: “Jennifer Lopez” …
SIMPLE and WARM
When Nataša smiles in ads the first thing one could say about her as a cliché is that she is unapproachable because she is so perfect. However, that is just not true. She is a very approachable, kind, and warm person. A coincidental observer would say that she must be a good housekeeper, mum, and wife … The first statement is true, there is no doubt about it. She is particularly good at baking sourdough bread and in general she has an extremely healthy diet. I can confirm this because she brought us delicious cinnamon cookies to the photo session. Her boyfriend who runs a healthy grocery store called Krajček in Kranj can also take some credit for the fact that healthy food is part of her everyday life. She has not had children yet, even though this role would suit her well, but she says that in these uncertain times she does not dare to take this step. And she does not have a ring because her boyfriend has not proposed to her yet 😉
CASTLE STORIES
So, all of us girls chased around looking for suitable spots in the castle to take some good photos. Vesna, the stylist, prepared a pile of shiny dresses for her, I added a little crown from my store ninaroydo.si, Maša, the hairdresser, curled her luxuriant hair, and Mateja Drolec, another girl from Gorenjska, took care of her make-up. It was pure luck that even though we were laughing and talking loudly we did not wake the sleeping dragon.
