There was a little bit of sunshine and some fog and clouds, acting as usual lately.
When I arrived in the highest hotel in Ljubljana, InterContinental, to photograph Urška Sršen ,for L&Z cover story, she was already in the makeup artist’s hands Saše Godejša. The real, natural blonde, as later established by the hairstyle expert, Maša Repovš, greeted me with a gentle smile.
ART TALENT
Urška is a proper young entrepreneur. A millennial who started her business at an early age.
It started on a fundraising platform where they were looking for investors for innovative products. A sculptor who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana (Haha, so did I. The only difference is that I finished industrial design 😊) took a good advantage of her artistic eye. In company Bellabeat, she and her big team develop products and applications that help contemporary women to be healthy and to take part in activities.
Urška also brought these beautiful products that look like jewellery (in fact they are quite smart 😊) to the shooting.
EVERYTHING WITH A VINTAGE TOUCH
The clothes selected by a stylist, Vesna Mirtelj, looked a little vintage. And so did the hotel premises with a touch of Art Deco. And these colours coral, turquoise blue and fuchsia red were calling for a little more intense makeup. And Saša got hold on her lipsticks right away…
“Huh, I have never had such an intensive lipstick …” smirked Urška when she saw herself on the camera screen.
BORN TO BE A MODEL
I can say that she played the model role perfectly. And her figure is also perfect. And her “peach booty” cannot hide that she devotes a fair amount of time to training. But she also likes animals. She and her partner live in Zagreb. A dog named Punči keeps them company there and at weekends they always go for a ramble together.
Urška, I wish you a lot more unwinding in nature to relax your nerves. And, of course, may a loooot of beautiful, nice, and ecological products see the light of the day… 😊
